Mini Yarn Snow Hats

I love a good yarn stash project. And I love even more when a project requires no glue and no sewing! These mini yarn hats are the perfect thing to use up your yarn stash and don’t require any glue or sewing!

Supplies

• Yarn. I really love chunky yarn for these hats. You can use regular weight yarn, but you will need twice as much, and it will take twice as long to make. Both look cute when finished, but I think the chunky yarn looks more like a winter hat.

• Toilet paper rolls. Yes, the toilet paper rolls from your garbage. If you find that you don’t have any available, you can actually buy a pack of them from Amazon.

• Scissors. You will want a good pair that can cut easily through cardboard and thick yarn.

• Cotton balls. These will help fill out your hat.

• Tiny pom poms, fake snow, glitter, etc. I love, love, love these tiny white pom poms on these hats! I bought this big pack at Amazon last year, and I have used them for so many projects. They may be my favorite craft purchase of the season!

How To

I put together a little video showing how easy it is to make these hats. Once you make one, you’ll want to make a bunch! String them to a garland, add a piece of yarn to make an ornament, top a gift, or set them out on display! These darling little hats are going to be the best addition to your winter decor all season long!
